Hi, I’m looking to share a room at convention. Would prefer female roomies but will consider any offer. I am going to Baltimore on a very limited budget so need to save $$ wherever I can. You can contact me at hgarrold at yahoo.com. Thanks, Betsy Garrold
Hi Betsy-
I don’t mind sharing my hotel room with you. you can contribute whatever you can. Hillary (GPPA and ANMC Co-Chair). hillarya at pobox.upenn.edu
Thanks Hillary. I will be in touch. You are very generous.
Hello everyone,
My girl friend and I are looking for a room to stay in. Free would be ideal. We are both trying to fund raise but are also both broke students.
Feel free to call me 707 328 8654 if you can help!

Hi there! I need a place to stay in a home in Baltimore, I can’t afford the ‘green’ hotel in town and I have chemical sensitivities so I can’t stay anywhere that uses scented cleaning products or air fresheners or candles. I am disabled with arthritis too so I need a place where I don’t have to walk up and down flights of stairs. Pets are ok. Please contact me if you can help! Starlene starlene@gmail.com Thank you!
My email address above is wrong. Please contact me at starlene@gp.org
If this isn’t an appropriate post I apologize.
I just wanted to let poeple know that if you can’t provide us with a low cost or free room to sleep in, we are trying to raise funds to afford a hotel.
You can donate to our travel fund online but going here: https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/9Jz93
Please, help us find a place to stay in Baltimore! Thank you!
My boyfriend and I are planning to attend the convention, but are having trouble finding a place to stay. I tried to book the suggested hotel today, and it said that all of the rooms are taken. Are there any other hotels that the Green Party has a deal with? We are traveling from California, so the funds just to get there have been hard to come up with, much less lodging costs. We can afford a cheap hotel, if someone could recommend one near the University or a means of transportation to get us there? Is it possible for the Green Party to book more rooms at the Holiday Inn? Please let me know by emailing me at haley.anais6@gmail.com or calling my boyfriend, Alex Shantz, at 707-328-8654. Thanks so much!
Also, if you would like to donate to our fundraiser to help us get to Baltimore for the Green Party National Convention, you can visit our paypal site here. https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/9Jz93
Thank you!
FYI
We are driving from South Carolina but all of the downtown hotels want an additional $25-30/day just to park your car! So we are staying at the Howard Johnson’s in Pikesville. Rooms are $46/night and it is about a mile from the Milford Mill Metro station. The Metro goes downtown and stops at the Mount Royal station which is a block from the convention.
Possibly need a male roommate at the Biltmore Suites for Wednesday-Saturday night (or some of those nights) to share with Scott McLarty (GP Media Director). Waiting to hear from some people that have been asked to share but email me if you are interested. Cost would be approximately $55 (inc. taxes) for a suite – one bedroom and a room separated by a bathroom with a futon or sofa bed). Also has free wireless and a fridge and microwave in the room . Within walking distance of Law School where Thursday/Friday events are.
I would be happy to share with Scott. I can only do this on Friday and Saturday nights however. The price is fine. Please reply whether or not this would work out, so that I don’t have to wait. Thanks..
We’ve made other arrangements now. But thanks for the offer. Looking forward to meeting you.
I would like to recommend http://www.couchsurfing.com
I have used this site to travel all over the U.S. and people are always happy to host you at no cost and hopefully in the future you could host someone in your hometown. It’s people helping people and it works great. Good luck!
I know the InnerHarbor Holiday Inn block is already full, but saw there might be some extra room spaces available for little or no cost. I’ll be in Baltimore Thurs-Sat nights and have reserved a place at the hostel, but if a room share for a female roommate is available at about the same cost or less, it would be that much more convenient.
I reserved a room at the Holiday Inn at the convention site for Wed. to Sat. and am looking for female roommates. The room has 2 queen beds: $60 each, or $30 each if you want to share a bed. Please get in touch soon.
The room listed above has been filled.
Hi Holly -
I have booked a double for the 3 nights you need and would like to share. The room is 347 for the three nights so it would be 1/2 of that for a double bed of your own. the hotel is downtown 10 minute walk from the convention. You can call me at 860 859-1199 or lthompson321@aol.com
The Inner Harbor Holiday Inn block is already taken, but I saw there may be some room share spaces available, possible at little or no cost. I have reserved a place at the hostel, but if someone has space for a female roommate for about the same cost or less they are willing to share, that would be more convenient on my end. Not a big deal, but it doesn’t hurt to check!
Dear Holly -
Sorry not to call sooner. I have decided to have a single room for
around $200 and would not save that much by sharing. Thanks for answering but I have a lot of allergies and think it best I room alone. Hope to meet you. Peace, Linda
Thanks for getting back to me, Linda. That’s fine, and sounds like a good idea for you, and I need to be careful of funds. See you – probably! – in Baltimore
Hi, my partner and I are looking to see if any Greens in the Baltimore or DC area have room for us to stay for Thursday, and Friday night for the convention. If that is too much we could just stay on Friday night only. We are within a few hours of the convention, but we are hoping to conserve resources (gas/oil) by not driving back and forth. My partner Colleen is allergic to both cats and dogs so we couldn’t stay with anyone who has those. My email is thatruthmusic@yahoo.com
I am a delegate at the Green convention who has reserved a room in a Holiday Inn which has shuttle service to and from Baltimore Penn Station (across the street from the convention). The room accommodates two and I’m traveling alone, so I’m looking for someone to share the room and of course the costs. It would be $70.00 per night, Friday and Saturday. Gender unimportant. Please contact me via email at dylanexpert@aol.com.
Please note that the request above no longer applies as I have changed my accommodations in Baltimore and thus no longer need a roommate.
I rent rooms in my house and I can accommodate up to 7 people. I am located about 3 miles from the University of MD. Please click on this link to see my house: http://www.airbnb.com/rooms/41532
You can contact me directly at dwooley@rkk.com.
The above offer is no longer available.
If you need a room please let me know. At nearjhu@verizon.net To workout terms and charges.
Need a couch to crash on in Baltimore, hopefully with internet access (I have to send media files to various media outlets). 914 374-2475 Don

Hi All, I know have a room reserved for Thurs., Fri. and Sat. nights a half mile from the Law School site and a 10 minutes or so light rail ride from the big event on Friday. Would welcome a roommate if anyone else still needing a place!
Hi, my housing fell through at the last moment. I’m a single male, 53, from Santa Monica, CA (http://www.feinstein.org). I arrive on Wednesday morning and leave Sunday night. Then there is an additional student Green named Harrison Wills (from Santa Monica, CA, who is in DC right now), who arrives on Thursday night and leaves Sunday, that I am also trying to find a room for.
Call 410-366-0142 Maybe I can help.
Hi. This is Mike Feinstein. I just arrived at BWI and am about to get on the light rail line. I saw you responded to my lodging inquiry. I didn’t want to call this early so I tried texting and it bounced back Can you check to make sure you typed your number correctly
I think it’s very disappointing that apparently no one involved with the Green Party in the Baltimore area has been able to offer free housing for even one night to anyone! I have housed three different people in my home for two different political events in the past week in my area for free. I would think someone could offer a fellow green or two a place to stay for the conference, and I have seen nothing but offers for hotel room splitting strictly by gender (and maybe age too) and it’s def. disappointing.
Normally,I would offer for free but I on layoff so, have to charge.
looking for a place to share Friday night. Mark Dunlea, Brooklyn
Do you have a room for 2 Canadian members of the International Committee arriving on friday morning? Need for Friday and Saturday Night?
Tian from Mountain View, CA has a room at the Holiday Inn – Inner Harbour for all nights and may be able to share. Too green for a cell phone, but will be at the reception Thursday night.
Mend your fuelish ways!!!
Tian. It’s Mike Feinstein. I think I’d like to get your extra bed. I’ll look for you at the reception
Me too. Tian and Mike
